- My interest in this cafe started simply enough: I just wanted a decent cup of coffee that wasn't 15 blocks away. The location of Art Haus was perfect for me, but the coffee wasn't. Now I make sure the coffee is good - not just for myself, but for each person that comes to our building for a beverage and a good experience. I am writing in response to your ad for a coffee shop manager. I believe I am an ideal candidate for this position, and not just because I am currently managing the coffee shop on an interim basis. I have extensive experience managing a venue and catering events. I have a passion for coffee, and for maintaining a well-designed and efficient kitchen. I am in agreement with and loyal to the Artists' Milepost mission. I know that this position is unique because it means not only managing a successful cafe, but creating a space where artists can network and collaborate. I believe that the coffee shop is an ideal venue to promote the Artists' Milepost mission. I also believe in the potential of this place, and want to do my part in realizing that potential.
