i have a confession to make. i was very high when i made plans to have soup earlier. now i'm not high and i'm going to take a nap. soup is still a possibility today, but it will be much later. i shouldn't have posted in this thread so early into the plan and i've learned and grown a lot through this mistake.

i made cheeseburger soup and it was good -1/2 pound ground beef (i used venison) brown it but dont break it up too much -take the meat out the pan and saute your onion and basil (can also use carrots celery mushrums whatever) -put it all in a pot with 3 or 4 coups chicken broth and diced potatoes. you dont gotta peel them but you should - boil it then reduce heat and let it do its thing until the potatoes are tendy - here's where it gets wacky. 3 tbsp butter and 1/4 cup flour in a small pan and stir over medium heat 5 min. mix into pot, stir and bring it back to a boil for 2 minutes while stirring - back off to low heat and mix in 1.5 cup milk and as much cheese as you want. i did 3 cups - salt pepper and whatever spice you want. take off heat and add a scoop of sour cream - yum
