any fellow bloarders play fighting games.. you know like street fighter and smash bros. that kind of thing. I love these games. would be "chill" to get in some matches with some bloard boys. maybe start a clan

was a big melee fan. never got really elite at it or anything but i could clean up among friends. for some reason i've never been able to get into any other fighting game

i will say that i appreciate side-scroller fighters for the fact that they keep local multiplayer alive. a dying features in almost every other genre

there's cwrtainly a distinctive experience being right next to your opponent... though the "rules" of most tournaments cut out many of the interesting possibilities in that space (hurting your opponent, unplugging their controller, etc)... sheer foolishness, what a waste of potential
