I am OK with low-effort content. I am at the university studying for 6-10 hours a day working my ass off. When I get back home, I want to relax: read shitty memes and laugh at stupid videos. I don't want to read a peer-reviewed essay on the nuances of the history of Israel. I don't want to discuss societal issues or read a 8-paragraph written speculation piece on how Call of Duty has dumbed down the gamer audience. Low effort is so taboo and yet it's upvoted too. Vocal minority?
