GREAT FALLS 鈥?Non-profit agencies can now register to be part of the 2021 Give Great Falls event. The event is a week-long effort, May 3-7, to promote and raise money for non-profits.Its organized by the Great Falls Area Community Foundation, the United Way of Cascade County, and the Great Falls Chamber of Commerce Non-profit Alliance. The registration fee is $50. The money is used to cover the cost of maintaining the website created for the event at GiveGreatFalls.org. Non-profits that register will be listed on the website.People can then go to the website and donate to the agency of their choice. Businesses will also have offers during the week to help raise money for the non-profits.In 2020, the event brought in more than $43,000 for more than 40 nonprofits. A lot of theses nonprofits are volunteer driven, so raising those funds not only helps provide the services that they offer but it also helps to keep the organization intact and able to serve, said Kellie Pierce, Great Falls Area Community Foundation board member. The deadline to register is April 26.
