In case you didn’t know, November is National Novel Writing Month. I have participated in six NaNoWriMos so I can say from experience that if you are serious about writing, NaNoWriMo is a must.

After 500 words, my novel this year has a lot going on to say the least. My main themes are time travel, punk rock, and Christianity (I’m Catholic which is very important to me). Of course it will also feature my trademark random humor and maybe a crossover with one of my favorite universes (Firefly or Hyperion...NOT HP or LotR, no offense but fantasy is for babies).

Please use this thread to discuss progress on your novel, difficulties, and tips for hitting that 50K mark!

Excellent OP. Looking forward to perusing your finished novel, good luck! Also, if you're looking for random humor, and other suggestions, look no further than the Official NaNoWriMo Forums. For instance, my novel is going to have lots of back-and-forth witty banter. So this thread was PERFECT for me. http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/forums/adop ... reads/3984 Anyway. Just check it out!! Happy writing, every body.
